The collaboration between Ateles and Daniel Wellington began in 2016 when Daniel Wellington needed help in developing their existing Magento e-commerce solution. The huge growth that the company had experienced made them unable to develop the platform fast enough. As Daniel Wellington started off as an e-commerce company, having a solid digital presence was very important in order to achieve aggressive growth goals.
At the beginning of 2017 a new project was implemented in order to increase Daniel Wellington's organic visibility in the US market. Ateles made a comprehensive SEO work that included everything from developing guidelines on how to work with influencers to achieve the best SEO value, writing texts to increase content for the US market etc.
In addition to having a strong digital presence in the United States, Daniel Wellington realized that the physical presence was important as well, which resulted in the latest project with Ateles that began in early 2018. Through Data Science (Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning), Ateles identified geographically optimal locations where to find Daniel Wellington's customer segments in the US market. The goal of the mission was to gain market share from competitors through a sharp increase in physical stores.
