About Møller Mobility Group
Møller Mobility Group is the leading car group in the Nordic and Baltic countries and has established itself as one of Europe's largest car companies. Møller's goal is to be the biggest and best in the various markets. They have understood that it is only when we see an interaction between technology and business models that we can see the base for a transport revolution. The group has a turnover of over 28 billion and has more than 4300 employees in Norway and Sweden. The brands of Volkswagen, Audi, Skoda and Seat are included in the group.
The project
Møller Mobility Group signed an agreement with CAG Ateles in 2017, where CAG Ateles became Møller's main partner for the development of the their digital commerce platform. The goal of the digital car sales was to create a flexible, simple and efficient platform - the same e-commerce solution and platform for all brands.
The solution
The solution chosen was the Magento e-commerce platform integrated with PIM, DAM and CMS from Pimcore. Møller Mobility Group wanted a flexible solution that supported their desire to decentralize information and content updates and create local involvement. They also wanted to use the same platform for the different sales channels. As both Magento and Pimcore are open source-based, CAG Ateles and Møller have full possibilities to implement customized features and will not face any restrictions on future needs and requirements.
